Our Controls Engineering group specializes in physical automation system design, programming, and commissioning. Our dedicated Digitalization Group connects automated equipment and systems to the business environment including protected recipe systems, data collection and reporting, and data historian implementation.

Essential Functions

  1. Networking
  2. Perform wire terminations of Cat 3/5/6 cabling
  3. Install Ethernet patch panels
  4. Install and configure network switches and routers
  5. Set up and configure VLANs
  6. Understanding of IP addressing and sub-netting
  7. Verify connectivity between devices
  8. Computer Hardware
  9. Install/upgrade various computer hardware
  10. Troubleshooting failing hardware
  11. Install/maintain rack-mounted servers
  12. Installation of KVM devices
  13. Software
  14. Install/maintain Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Server 2000–current and Linux)
  15. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  16. SharePoint, fundamentals
  17. Install/maintain third-party industrial software
  18. Basic fundamental programming
  19. Architect/maintain/query databases in SQL Server 2000-current
  20. Create/maintain virtual environments (VMware, HyperV)
  21. Maintain/test software and software updates
