Process and Data Automation is an industrial controls and industrial controls-related data integration firm. The “P&DA” Team specializes in maximizing systems and developing software that are designed to help manufacturers improve the efficiency, productivity, and (ultimately) profitability of their operation and organizations. To do this we partner with end customers, A&E and Design-Build firms, and equipment OEMs.

Data. Data. Data. For David Motherwell, manager of production and quality at Erie Water Works, those are his top three priorities. With two plants and 29 additional locations, the utility’s 60 PLCs turn out data 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This complex processor-to-processor communication and data reporting need to be analyzed, logged and archived. So when Erie Water Works decided to upgrade and consolidate its SCADA system, Motherwell had only one call to make – to Process and Data Automation (PDA), the Erie, Pa.-based industrial controls and integration company.
